Advancements in technology are being announced daily. Although the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a fairly new one, it is an area of the online world that is developing quickly and one which our children have access to. Companies are regularly releasing new AI based software or are adding an AI element (such as chat bots) to existing apps e.g. Snapchat. AI friends/chatbots have become increasingly popular as children experiment with having an online 'friend' who shares the same likes, dislikes and hobbies.
