Attendance Matters
Regular attendance plays a vital part in helping your child to reach their full potential.
We ask that pupils arrive in time to start the day at 8.40AM promptly, as the gates open for school - any child that arrives after the gates close at 8:50AM will be classed as late.
Should your child need to be absent we ask:
Parents to inform school as soon as possible on the first day of your child’s absence.
Pupils who are late must be signed in at the school office by an adult. Persistent absence and lateness is followed up by the Headteacher and Education Officer.
We discourage families from taking their children out of school during term time as it is disruptive to their education. However, in exceptional circumstances requests for leave of absence during term time should be put in an email and submitted to the school office within 4 weeks of the start of the proposed leave of absence.
Further information & guidance on requesting a period of absence can be found using the link below:

Attendance and Punctuality will be tracked regularly throughout the school year.
