Key Stage 2
Key Stage 2 (Year 3 / Year 4 / Year 5 / Year 6)
In the Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 children follow the National Curriculum. Key Stage 2 is split into 2 discrete phases known as Lower Key Stage 2 (Year 3 and Year 4) and Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 and Year 6).
At the end of Year 6 the children are assessed through National tests (SATs) and teacher assessments in English, Maths and Science to measure their attainment and progress. The results of the SATs are published in performance tables and in a data dashboard.
